About Cody

Hey guys, I am just going to use this section to tell you all a little bit about my self. My name is Cody Huffines, you can call me Cody, Codes, Mr. Awesome…anything along those lines. I am from a small town in central Illinois called Roodhouse. There really isn’t a lot to do there except watch movies and TV. That is why I know a lot about Pop Culture. I am currently in my second year here at UIS and I am loving every minute of it. This year I started work as an RA on 1 West of Lincoln Residence Hall. Being an RA is cool, but it kinda dampens the social life a little bit. It really sucks that people place that stigma on the label RA, it’s like they think we are Zombies or something that just want to eat their faces, but really we are just here to help. I think the most important thing to me is my family and friends. They mean a lot to me. The reason I started blogging is to give other students a chance to read whats going through my mind so maybe they could make a connection with me as a fellow student. I also think that I can have a lot of fun with this thing. I am really looking forward to talking about all of the Awesomely stupid stuff that goes down this year. We will see how it works out.
